Responsibilities
- Review, assess, and challenge solution architecture blueprints produced by internal teams, project teams, and external vendors
- Produce high-quality solution architecture documents aligned with enterprise architecture standards, templates, and governance
- Participate in the design of end-to-end solutions covering application, infrastructure, integration, data, and security layers
- Ensure proposed architectures are consistent with enterprise principles, technical standards, and strategic objectives
- Gather and analyse business requirements, technical constraints, system dependencies, and data flows
- Identify architectural gaps, inconsistencies, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Recommend pragmatic and sustainable architectural solutions
- Support the implementation and enforcement of architecture governance processes and best practices
- Contribute to architecture reviews and design validation sessions
- Ensure compliance with security, resiliency, scalability, and business continuity requirements
- Maintain accurate architecture documentation and solution blueprints
- Work closely with Enterprise Architects, Infrastructure teams, Security teams, Developers, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and business stakeholders
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in IT
- Proven experience in Solution Architecture, Technical Architecture, or Application Architecture
- Fluent in English and French
- Experience designing solutions across multiple technology domains
- Previous experience working within enterprise architecture governance is considered a strong asset
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong critical thinking with the ability to challenge architecture proposals constructively
- Excellent written communication and documentation skills
