We are looking for a Product Owner to work at our client, a big EU Institution in Luxembourg. You will be responsible to lead the development and evolution of network and infrastructure services, with a strong focus on VPN, SD-WAN, and cloud network solutions, and a secondary focus on security aspects. Acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, you will define the product vision, prioritize the roadmap, and ensure delivery of high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to refine the product vision and translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Define and prioritize the product roadmap aligned with strategic objectives.
- Manage and maintain the product backlog, including epics and user stories.
- Work closely with architects and engineering teams to design and implement network and infrastructure solutions.
- Ensure integration of security features (e.g., firewalls, DNS, reverse proxies) into network designs.
- Oversee development progress, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives, Daily Scrums).
- Validate deliverables through testing and stakeholder feedback.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies in networking, cloud, and security.
Required profile
- Proven experience in product management within network and infrastructure domains.
- Strong knowledge of VPN, SD-WAN, and cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with security principles and edge security components (firewalls, DNS, load balancers).
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Preferred: Certifications such as Scrum Product Owner (CSPO, SAFe PO/PM) and cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Nice to Have
- Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of parameter storage systems (e.g., NetBox).
- Understanding of cloud landing zones and network architecture best practices.
