For one of our prestigious financial clients based in Luxembourg, we are actively expanding the implementation team dedicated to an ambitious Enterprise Data Management (EDM) transformation program powered by NeoXam Data Hub (NDH).
We are looking for a Master Data Management Engineer to join a dynamic, modern, and high-performing Scrum team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting core banking products, designing high-quality data interfaces, and driving data quality across complex financial domain datasets. Responsibilities
- Design, write, and maintain well-structured, testable, and efficient parameters/code using the NDH scripting language in line with user story specifications.
- Build, optimize, and maintain robust data interfaces to seamlessly import and export data to and from NeoXam Data Hub.
- Design and implement automated data quality rules and validation checks on critical reference data (e.g., financial assets, pricing, funds).
- Set up and design the NDH data dictionary in close collaboration with Data Architects and NDH Subject Matter Experts.
- Define and write comprehensive unit and conformance tests using tools such as XRay, Cucumber, and Java API.
- Contribute innovative solutions to enrich and modernize the existing software portfolio.
- Actively participate as a core member of a dedicated Scrum team, delivering high-quality, shippable features in every sprint.
Required profile
- Advanced degree (Master's or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong expertise in relational database models (RDBMS) and advanced SQL queries.
- Solid proficiency with structured files (CSV, XML, JSON) as well as core scripting and algorithm design concepts.
- Strong interest or hands-on experience with ETL concepts, tools, and data architecture best practices.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks and working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Financial Domain Knowledge (or eagerness to learn): High motivation to master core banking domains, including:
- Financial instruments, pricing, and indices.
- Market data feeds (Bloomberg, SIX, WM Datenservice, Refinitiv/Reuters, FundInfo).
- Inbound and outbound transactional flows.
- Funds domain and legal/regulatory reporting.
- Tech enthusiast who loves to learn, tinker, and care about writing clean, maintainable code beyond the daily checklist.
- Strong team spirit with an Agile approach focused on growing together and supporting colleagues.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken). Proficiency in French is a strong advantage.
- Positive attitude, adaptable, and a good sense of humor!
