We are looking for an experienced, talented and self-motivated professional to take the position of Solutions Architect.
Inside the department managing company IT solutions to the benefit of internal professionals taking care of our customers, you will be integrated into the team responsible for the design phase of the implementation projects.
Responsibilities
Your mission will focus on 2 main activities:
- For each assigned project, you will:
- be responsible for the overall application design to meet the business requirements as well as technical requirements,
- participate along with the development manager/leader to deliver the complete solution for our internal & external customers,
- follow-up interaction between development teams and infrastructure teams to favour the complete delivery of your design.
- Cooperate with your team colleagues, to leverage common Architecture knowledge and expertise and constantly optimize processes and deliverables
Required profile
Profile Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Architect or technical specialist.
- Proven experience in system integration within complex environments and API design using RESTful architecture patterns.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into solution designs.
- Experience incorporating non-functional requirements into solution design, including scalability, redundancy, availability, security, maintainability, and fault tolerance.
- Ability to interface effectively with internal business clients and external vendors.
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology and practices.
Basic Qualifications: Core Stack & Architecture Patterns
The candidate should have experience with the following or similar technologies:
- Architecture & patterns: Microservices architecture, Event-Driven Architecture (EDA), web service design (REST/SOAP), security patterns, and SSO architecture.
- Containerization & orchestration: OpenShift.
- Messaging & streaming: Kafka and distributed messaging systems.
- Development languages & frameworks: Java, including Spring Boot for modern implementations and legacy JEE integration from JEE5,.NET, and PHP.
- DevOps & CI/CD: GitLab and DevOps practices.
- Design tools: UML framework.
- Operating systems & databases: Linux, Windows, and SQL.
Additional Assets
- Understanding of the telecom business domain.
- Working knowledge of, or certification in, Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF 10 Foundation.
- Experience with BPMN design and working knowledge of BPM suites.
- Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, and SharePoint.
Languages
- Fluency in English and French is mandatory.
- German and/or Luxembourgish is considered an asset.

- Team player, flexible and able to collaborate effectively with end-users and engineering teams.
- Analytical mindset with creativity in addressing technical challenges and solving problems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demanding timelines.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain ideas, decisions, and reasoning to both technical and non-technical audiences.
