About this mission

Responsibilities

  • Analyse existing business processes, operational procedures and risk control frameworks to identify inefficiencies, operational risks and areas for improvement.
  • Collect, consolidate and review existing documentation to gain a comprehensive understanding of business requirements and operational practices.
  • Gather, challenge and formalise business needs in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify process gaps and assess potential impacts on existing activities, recommending practical solutions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Prepare Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), functional specifications and other relevant project documentation.
  • Contribute to the definition of target solutions and support the evolution of existing tools in line with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as the functional point of contact for the assigned scope, ensuring effective communication and coordination between business, IT and project teams.
  • Organise and facilitate workshops with business teams, control functions and project stakeholders.
  • Participate in the definition, preparation and execution of functional testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Support the implementation of new solutions and processes, ensuring alignment with business expectations.
  • Assist users throughout change management activities and promote the adoption of new tools and working practices.
  • Contribute to transformation initiatives focused on risk management, internal controls and continuous process improvement.
  • Manage assigned activities throughout the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and analysis to implementation.

Required profile

  • 2–3 years of relevant professional experience, ideally within banking, financial services, risk management or internal control environments.
  • Good understanding of Credit Risk and Market Risk activities, with an interest in banking processes and risk control frameworks.
  • Experience in business analysis, requirements gathering and functional documentation.
  • Ability to analyse complex processes, identify operational risks and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Familiarity with functional specifications, business requirements documentation and process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience participating in functional testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Excellent analytical, investigative and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
  • Excellent drafting, synthesis and documentation skills.
  • Ability to understand business challenges, challenge requirements and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with business, IT and control teams.
  • Ability to work independently while managing several topics and competing priorities.
  • Rigorous, organised and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Adaptability and confidence in complex, demanding and evolving environments.
  • Strong initiative and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Willingness to develop expertise in Risk & Controls and deepen business knowledge within the banking sector.
